At Spartan Daily, San Jose State University's award winning newspaper, I was able to illustrate for different news articles.
In addition, I helped create a front cover & center spread for the newspaper's 90th special issue, which made it to print. I co-created these in collaboration with Cammy Tan.
This special issue won awards. It won 2nd place at the California College Media Association and 3rd place at the San Francisco Press Club.

I Still Think About You
You never think you will be attacked in public until it actually happens. I shared my experience being attacked on public transportation in a Spartan Daily opinion piece where I touch on the power of mutual womanhood in difficult situations.
